FAQ

What type of metal do you use with your art?
-Most of my art pieces and panels are comprised of high quality 1/8" thick aluminum alloy.
Does the art look the same in all types of lighting?
-Because the color's vibrancy comes from light reflecting off the metal, different lighting can change the appearance of the art. For example, a standard light bulb with a more yellow (2.7K) color tone, will shift the blues more green and reds more orange, and so on. Though it will look amazing no matter the light source, I recommend halogen/LED full spectrum lighting or lights in the 4K-5K range to display the art; and of course, sunlight when possible.
Are the lines, swirls, and textures in your art painted on?
-All lines, textures, and other shapes are from grinding, sanding, and other techniques on bare metal. I use tinted clear-coat paints only to add color and depth to the metal after the grinding work is finished. This produces a rather dramatic effect as the art is viewed from different angles.
